Background Information
Mhae is a Registered Behavior Technician and has been Board Certified with the BACB since 2015. Mhae graduated high school in NNCHS, Philippines in 2010. Since then, Mhae has been working in the field of education and special education. Mhae has extensive experience with children and adolescents with ASD and ADHD and has worked as an assistant teacher and ABA therapist for over seven years.
Mhae is fluent in planning and leading group lessons for children with ASD and ADHD and has specific experience in teaching using ACE curriculum (Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia). In addition, Mhae has experience supporting children in mainstream settings – working alongside the SEN department to plan, develop, and deliver modified teaching strategies and behavior management techniques.
In her role as an ABA therapist, Mhae has worked with children and adolescents to reduce problematic behavior by implementing both trial by trial and cold probe DTT as well as NET under the direct supervision of a BCBA since 2013. Mhae has experience using both pencil and paper data collection as well as different online collection and analysis method.
In her previous role as vocational assistant, Mhae was directly supporting the BCBA with assessments, data collection and analysis, updating client treatment programs, and training other staff.
Mhae’s passion within this field is teaching kids and Adolescents with ASD and ADHD.
