Background Information

General Info & Learning Outcomes: Coding is basically a creative process for telling a computer/ machine how to perform a specific task. Kids who are exposed to coding at a very young age, have the benefit of learning how to critically assess situations, explore different perspectives, construct creative solutions, and execute the trial-and-error learning process. Coding for kids encourages logic, reasoning, being more aware of the directions, shortest routes, longest paths and critical thinking on mathematical concepts.

It promotes focus and creativity, triggers confidence and resilience. In this coding basics class, our Electrical Electronic Engineer Instructor will help children to incorporate visual coding blocks into fun, colorful games that would typically engage and educate them. The combination of block coding and vibrant visuals within a game setting will make programming much more interesting for this group of young aged children.

Being aware that introducing coding and robotics at an early age will enhamce mental development, UrbanCircle collaborated with a leading STEM vendor to export Buildy Bots from S. Korea. Buildy Bots is a device-free coding tool to blend playtime with structured learning.
