Background Information
Our Ballet Classes follow the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Our little ones start as early as 2.5yrs old right up to 19yrs old.

We start our little ballerinas off by developing a love of dance through lots of mime, imagery, and especially composed music, provided by the RAD pre-school syllabus.

The RAD exams are offered to students from 5yrs upwards starting with Pre-Primary Ballet through to the professional Vocational Exams of Intermediate and Advanced. These examinations are held annually and typically happen during the Spring Break.

For the serious and talented dancers, Turning Pointe runs a program of Vocational Classes, gearing students towards their professional examinations. Turning Pointe staff are experienced in successfully coaching students through vigorous international auditions, assisting with applications to Vocational Full Time schools and colleges in the UK, Australia, and the US.

DANCE FUSION
Dance Fusion is for 6 – 9year olds. It is an ideal class for those who have completed Ballet Fusion or for the new student who is not sure which style of dance they will prefer. The classes will develop the students' knowledge and ability in Ballet, Hip Hop, and Tap Dance, teaching them the different styles and preparing them for an annual stage show in the summer term.

Those graduating from Dance Fusion tend to choose to focus on one or two genres of dance, developing the individual styles to a higher level, enabling them to become more experienced dancers.
