Background Information
In this session Buket will be giving some vital advice on how to apply for scholarships around the world while also presenting tips and ticks on crafting the ideal essay for different parts of the world.
She will also touch on crafting "the High School CV" for different majors around the world. This session will take a deeper look at preparing for University applications so that parents can understand how to support their children fully for the upcoming applications season!

About Buket Ayaz:
Mrs. Ayaz is a leading UAE based University Counselor who has been working in the MENA region for the past 5 years. As a former Fulbright Scholar, Mrs. Ayaz gained her certification to work as an Independent Educational Consultant in 2012 and continued her mission to inspire and empower youth while helping them make the right decision for their overseas higher education pursuits. She worked in various universities and schools in the USA and Turkey until she moved to Dubai in 2016 to pursue work as a full-time school based higher education advisor. She has worked as University Counselor at JESS, Dubai for almost 2 years, then pursued her career in the same role at Uptown International School. Currently she is the Director of University and Careers Counseling at Deira International School.
Completing her certification in “College Access Counseling” from the USA, Mrs. Ayaz has set her heart on working with high school students to understand their career prospects, guide them in finding their ‘fit’ while making sure they complete the necessary preparation and application steps properly. She leaves no stone unturned because she believes that: “A goal without a plan is just a wish”. It is her lifelong passion to help students find the right ‘fit’ university and get them prepped for the world of work.
