Learn English in an interactive way, with this fun, creative and comprehensive English program. Have children gain the confidence to express themselves in English while growing a network of friends.

In this program:

Learn to speak about nature and environment.
Learn to express interest about nature and animals.
Practice reading and writing English.
Learn about animal habitats and how to care for different animals.
English language requirements:

You can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). You can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. You can describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Lesson details

Lesson 1 Farm animals
Wednesday, January 12, 6-6:45pm

In this lesson, children will learn and practice vocabulary about farm animals and learn about counting animals and other items. Children will practice by speaking, and review old animal words by playing an 'odd word out' game.

Lesson 2 Wild animals
Wednesday, January 19, 6-6:45pm

In this lesson children will learn and practice vocabulary about animals and short comparative adjectives. They will learn about animals from around the world. Children will learn a new song and sing together. Children will practice asking questions by playing a guessing game.
Materials needed at home: Pencil and paper
Homework: Write some comparative sentences about some of their favourite animals using short adjectives

Lesson 3 Pets
Wednesday, January 26, 6-6:45pm

In this lesson, children will learn and practice vocabulary about pets and some pet homes. They will learn about taking care of pets, and practice talking about their future plans.
Materials needed at home: Pencil and paper
Homework: Create a weekend plan schedule - use pictures or English on the homework.

Lesson 4 Insects
Wednesday, February 2, 6-6:45pm

In this lesson, children will learn and practice vocabulary about insects and some places different insects live and what they can give us. Children will learn a new song. They will learn about some changes insects (and other animals) must go through in their life while practicing the conditional grammar forms. Children will practice grammar by talking about what they will do in various crazy situations.
