Background Information
Rabab Kothari is an occupational therapist. She completed her bachelor’s degree from KEM hospital, Mumbai and her Masters’s degree from TNMC and BYL Nair, Mumbai. Rabab is also a certified aquatic therapist.
She started her career by working in a few clinical setups where she worked towards achieving independence in patients with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders for both adults and pediatrics.
Her clinical interests include working on Activities of daily living training, splinting, working on cognitive skills developmental, Aquatic therapy for neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, group therapy for improving social skills and art-based therapy. Conducting community-based rehabilitation is one of her strengths.
She strongly believes in evidence-based practice, documentation and has very extensive knowledge in using standardized tests for setting up proper therapy protocol and achievable goals for her patients.
She has publications in her name and has contributed to writing book chapters in neuro-rehab books, she also helped in a few research studies.
