Background Information
Your child’s development in cognitive, language, motor, and socio-emotional areas are evaluated and followed up through online sessions, every 3 months during the year. Parents prepare and deliver 3 separate 1 to 2-minute video recordings of the child’s
daily activities (during mealtime, parent-child play, and time alone) through WhatsApp or DriveApp before the meeting and a standardized parent questionnaire on the child’s developmental abilities is administered during the session. The child's developmental profile obtained from the observational data and questionnaire is shared and development-fostering advice for parents is given at the end of the session. Parents` questions regarding the child’s developmental and parenting processes are also answered. After each evaluation session, a descriptive report on the child’s development level and parenting strategies promoting development are sent to the family through e-mail.

Parents may apply for a Developmental Evaluation session whenever they need or register for Developmental Evaluation and Follow-Up Program yearly. Those families who receive the program yearly may contact us freely for day-to-day developmental questions through phone calls or texting.
