OVERVIEW

This course provides theoretical and practical training in First Aid techniques that are specific to infants who are aged 0 to 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. Candidates will become familiar with the role of the Paediatric first aider and be able to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation, including being able to provide first aid for a child and an infant. This course is ideal for those who are frequently around small children, for example parents, day care centre and also school employees including teachers.

Note:
Upon successful completion only, each student will receive a Certificate fWear casual, comfortable clothes for demonstration/practical exam. There will be a short break in mid session. Parking is available at Latifa Tower next door (AED 5.00 per hour). Please be advised that Card Payment Facility is not yet available at HSS Training Point.

Cancellation Policy
A cancellation must be made 48 hours in advance prior to booking date, for an ad-hoc booking 4 hours would be required, Cancellations after this period or non-attendance will incur a payment charge of 100%
