Background Information

With a strong academic background in Biological Sciences and experience mentoring A-Level students, Michelle brings a combination of academic excellence, subject expertise, and practical tutoring experience to her students. She is currently completing her BSc in Biological Sciences at Imperial College London, where she is achieving First Class standing, and will progress to a Master’s in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.

During her time as a HUB21 Learning Tutor, Michelle mentored more than 10 students and delivered A-Level Mathematics tuition, helping students progress from B grades to A* through targeted teaching, personalised support, and effective exam strategies.

Michelle combines her strong scientific background with a thoughtful and encouraging approach to tutoring. She aims to build student confidence while helping them develop genuine curiosity and a deeper understanding of their subjects. She particularly enjoys encouraging students to approach problems critically, become more independent learners, and develop their analytical skills.
